This entry-level analytical marketing role assists in management of product affinity lines including updating database based on product research and performance of media placements. This individual may also assist in developing, managing, executing, and analyzing media plans based on past product placements and choosing the best products for the applicable publications in order to meet circulation and sales goals. The individual will work with updated information on bad debts, return rates, and LTV (life time value) rates and make certain all promotions are accurately entered into all New Client Acquisitions (NCA) systems and that sales forecasts and inventory projections are correct. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field is required. Strong organizational, quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to work on multiple projects are required. Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Strong internship experience is preferred. Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word are required. Experience with SPSS, Access, or other database application is highly preferred. Experience with direct marketing is a plus. Self-motivated and highly organized individual is the ideal candidate for this position.
